I am a 22-year-old graphic designer from the Bay Area. I taught myself Adobe programs 7 years ago, and haven't stopped growing as a designer ever since. Over the years, I have done work for various clients, ranging from on-campus fraternities to clothing companies. I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the California State University, Fullerton, and plan to graduate at the end of the spring semester. Currently, I work freelance for Grn Apple Tree clothing company.
When I was young, my mom always encouraged my brothers and I to be artistic. As a graduate of the Academy of Art, San Francisco, she molded us to be expressive and persistent in everything we do. With her background in illustration and design, and my father's background in computer software programming, naturally I turned out be a graphic designer. I began my college career at the University of California, Riverside, studying for a BA in Business Administration. After three years, I decided it was definitely not for me and my mother convinced me to pursue a career in graphic design, like she always knew I could. I transferred to Cal State Fullerton during my 4th year in Fall of 2007 and have grown exponentially as a designer since.
